Structural Design

Our employees have years of experience in demanding engineering tasks in steel structure design area. Reliability through experience and know-how, Sarmaplan has the capability to carry out all types of design projects including the most demanding Finnish AA-class steel structures. The structures are calculated according to EuroCode 3 but other standards can be applied as well.

Expertise areas include, for example, steel-concrete composite structures, foundations, box sections and multi-storey buildings. Besides the structural design we also create manufacturing and assembly drawings as well as full material-, bolt-, etc. lists. Our structural engineering know-how covers all kinds of structures like industrial buildings, commercial-, and residential constructions as well as pylons. In addition, the design range includes pedestrian and bicycle bridges.

Steel structures are calculated and modelled with high-end products.
